Flashlight and head lamp for Zombies

You can never have to much light, there are all kinds of lights that you will need. For instance head lamps so you can  have your hands free to fight off the zombie's.You may also need  mini lights that you can use in low low light situations. Spot lights are a really good light for seeing at a distance. Then you have tactical lights which are perfect to attach to your weapon, so it's not dropped while trying to secure your area. Weather you are fighting zombies or if you simply have a power outage or any kind of catastrophic disaster you should always have a back up light system in all parts of your everyday life.

Aurora Fire Starter

The Aurora was created and manufactured by Solo Scientific. Having a good fire steel with you is a must, and having it made in the USA is a plus in my book. The Aurora fire starter uses a large 1/4 diameter (.635 cm) composite flint steel/magnesium rod with a built-in 440c striking blade. I like these, and I've used the blade on the Aurora and it works great. The super alloy striking blade (made from tungsten, carbide, and cobalt) will never dull and if it does just simply just remove the screw and turn the blade over.  The striker blade is  harder than any knife blade. The Aurora is designed to function wet or dry, and has an overall length of 3.6" (9.14 cm) diameter of 6.25" (15.875 cm). The weight is 1.6" ounces and it's reasonably priced between $20-25 dollars.

First Deer

I know I've been a little slow the last few days getting out new reviews, but it's all been because of a hunt that I truly love being able to do. It's a group call OWL (outdoors without limits) this organization has been established for all men, women and children with disabilities to be able to participate in outdoor sports such as hunting and fishing. This includes the Wounded Warrior Project as well. I have the pleasure of being a guide during the hunting that is done here in South Carolina. It just so happens that one of the guides didn't have a partner for this afternoon's hunt, so he took my youngest son with him. Well Brandon is 11 years old and it isn't his first time hunting but it was his first ever kill today. I really couldn't tell you who was more excited his guide Tracy or Brandon. If you would like to learn more about Outdoors Without Limits, join a chapter or just work as a volunteer check out their website at www. outdoorswithoutlimits.com. They go all over the U.S. and have different chapters spread out far and wide. As always this has been Max Malone saying be safe and God bless America.

PSK Fishing Survival Kit

Every one needs to keep some kind of fishing kit in there PSK. This kit should have some hooks with a variety of sizes, fishing line of at least 25 feet, sinkers and if they'll fit get some small bobbers. Keep these items in a water tight container to prevent the hooks from rusting and you have a light weight kit that takes up very little space.

Otter Box PSK (Personal Survival Kit)

Using the Otter Box as my PSK (Personal Survival Kit). The Otter Box is a water proof  box to keep all your survival needs and your personal items in.

Duck Tape

They is so much that you can use duct tape for. Such as taping a tent together, taping your clothes if they get torn , You can tape a knife to a stick and make a spear ,and you can also use it as a restraint if needed, like restraining zombies. It can also be stripped into little pieces and balled up to use as tinder. Duct tape is a versatile tool.

BIC Lighter

One of the things that I keep in my PSK (personal survival kit) is a BIC lighter. I know that you think a lighter well I don't smoke, but think for just a minute. If you are in an area where you don't have electricity then a lighter will serve you well. As long as you keep it dry you can light fires, and sure it to signal for help among other things, such as lighting a can of gasoline to blow up some zombies. So when you are making your own PSK, one of the things you may want to put into it is a BIC lighter. It can also be a back up for your firesteel or matches. And they are super cheap and can be purchased about anywhere. Always remember to get a bright colored lighter so it can be found if dropped. In a pinch you can also use the sparking wheel when the fuel runs out. We are trying to prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse/Natural Disasters and will continue with these articles.
